Taylor Perron was elected by acclamation to the open seat on Sexsmith Town Council.
The term runs through to the 2029 general election.
About Taylor
I’ve lived in the greater Peace Region for most of my life, and Sexsmith has been home since January 2026.
Technology has been my line of work for most of my career. If your WiFi just got faster or a new server showed up in the back room, there’s a good chance I was involved.
Of all the levels of government, municipal has the largest and most immediate effect on our daily lives. That’s why I put my name forward, and I want to help make that work well for everyone in Sexsmith.
Priorities
-
Efficiency
Look for savings before spending more. Every hour the town saves is an hour a resident does not spend waiting, and every dollar the town saves is a dollar that does not have to be collected. Same services, less time, less money.
-
Modernization
Bring the town’s work up to date, in the tools it uses and in the way it is run.
-
Built here
The people of Sexsmith built this town, and we will build what comes next. When the town can do the work, the decision stays here.
No vote for this seat
The seat was filled by acclamation, so there is no councillor ballot.
Taylor takes the oath of office on November 2, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. For questions about the by-election or the oath, contact the town office.
